Nearly half of Washington, DC's children live east of the Anacostia River and in Ward 8, where THEARC is located, nearly half of these children live in poverty. THEARC relies on the generosity of our donors to provide cultural, social, educational and health services to children and adults living east of the Anacostia River in Washington, DC.
