Course Objective: This interactive session covers key strategies and techniques to increase board engagement and involvement in fundraising efforts.

This interactive session focuses on ways to increase your board’s willingness and effectiveness in raising the resources your organization needs. How can you increase a board’s engagement in the process with encouragement and support instead of arm-twisting and guilt? How can you constructively challenge board members and volunteer leaders to become more involved? Participants will learn strategies and techniques related to recruitment and cultivation of new board members, conducting effective assessments, and specific approaches on how to make the ‘ask’.
