College Students Develop Concepts for 11th St Bridge Park

In September 2012, University of Maryland landscape architecture students were asked to develop concepts for an 11th Street Bridge Park as part of their fall studio class.  They were given a presentation by 11th Street Bridge Park Director Scott Kratz and had the opportunity to review documents prepared by the DC Office of Planning.  Under the direction of Professor Jack Sullivan, 19 students created models and supportive graphics of their proposals.

Here are some of their designs.  Each design shows the creativity, skill and imagination of these talented individuals!  Thanks to Professor Sullivan for inspiring the next generation of landscape architects.
