THEARC Hosts Community Workshop for Public Space Engagement

THEARC Hosts Community Workshop for Public Space Engagement

THEARC has engaged the Project for Public Spaces to help us evaluate new ideas for how we use our campus. Some of these ideas or short-term, others more long-term but we want to hear from you! THEARC is hosting a community workshop on Wednesday, June 17th in order to get ideas and suggestions on ways THEARC and our partners can make our campus more engaging.

Project for Public Spaces is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people create and sustain public spaces that build stronger communities. Founded in 1975, PPS embraces the insights of William (Holly) Whyte, a pioneer in understanding the way people use public spaces. Today, PPS has become an internationally recognized center for best-practices, information, and resources about Placemaking.

This workshop is free and open to the public. Pizza will be served! Please bring your ideas, creativity, and suggestions!
