On February 24, 2011, ArtReach students from THEARC took a field trip to the Corcoran Gallery of Art to tour the Washington Color and Light exhibit and visit with Corcoran College of Art and Design (CCAD) students working in their studios.  Student favorites included looking at the large scale paintings they had learned about in class, such as the Gene Davis piece photographed here, and talking with CCAD students about the themes and techniques in their respective art.
